Igniting Kids’ Motivation
In 20 years of children’s camps, I’ve had parents approach me consistently with the following question, “How do I MOTIVATE my kids?”

Great question…With school work, sports, chores, pets and more…How do we lead them into getting their stuff it accomplished?

My short answer is within the address I gave to a high school football team this week. Here is a portion of it.
“Your coaches, parents, teammates, co-workers and friends cannot, ultimately, motivate you. Even as happy and as positive as I try to be, I can’t fully movitate you either.
YOU are YOUR OWN, and only, best motivator.”
How?
What do you DESIRE most? If the thing you desire most in life is the reason for your ACTIONS, then use that desire to Ignite Your Motivation.
When the ignition fire (desire) is hot, and you’ve got fuel in the tank (motivation), the rocket will go as far as you want it to go.
What’s igniting your motivation?
Let’s find out at camp.
Happy Shout Out,
Brian
